This band of Piratey Mavens formed Sequential Studio, a practice guided by a singular philosophy: to design science-based, sustainable spaces that transform today’s challenges into an exciting future. They knew that boldness, paired with expertise, could rewrite the rules of design and impact the world in meaningful ways.

What services do you offer?
We offer a range of design services, including:
- Architectural design for houses and small building that are under 3 storeys and within 600M2;
- Wayfinding & Signage; and
- Graphic design.
What is your design process?
A typical design process starts with a brief conversation to understand your ideas and project goals. From there, we begin the design phase, using a variety of tools such as brainstorming, research, precedent study, sketching, and concept validation etc. We then explore different design solutions and iterations, refining them until we find the best possible outcome.
We understand that every project is unique. The most effective way to move forward is to contact us directly, so we can discuss your specific goals and develop a tailored plan that meets your needs.
Will I be involved in the design process?
Yes! We value your input and feedback throughout the entire design process. We are in this together! The best outcome is we help to transform your ideas into tangible assets with limitless possibilities.
Do you handle permits or regulations?
Our design must meet the applicable regulatory requirements and accessibility standards, that include but not limited to the Ontario Building Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Municipal Zoning By-laws, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
When needed, we also handle permit drawings and the related application process.
Do you also sell products?
Yes, each of our products is designed to enhance the functionality and character of the spaces we create. If you find something that suits your space, feel free to make a purchase. If you’re looking for something specific that isn’t available, or if you have a unique project in mind, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your needs.
How do you approach sustainability in your designs?
We consider sustainability at the beginning of design, starting from the first conversation with clients. We then strategically select suitable sustainable features and apply them at various stages of design. Our approach to sustainability is not a choice, is a given.
What are your fees, and how do you charge?
Our service fees are tailored appropriately to each project. It could be an hourly rate, flat-rate, project-based pricing, or a combination of any of the above. The best way is to contact us and discuss what works for your project.
